Baked sauerkraut with onion, potato and salmon tortilla is a surprisingly delicious combination that you definitely should try. The sauerkraut is rinsed with cold water to soften the taste of it.

- 500gr sauerkraut from the barrel
- 1 small onion
- 5 juniper berries
- 40g butter
Baked Sauerkraut Recipe Method:
- Begin by rinsing the sauerkraut, squeeze the water out and leave the sauerkraut dry. Cut the sauerkraut finer.
- Slice the onion into thin half rings. Crush the juniper berries.
- Heat the butter but do not brown, add the sauerkraut, juniper berries and onion in the butter. Fry the onions and sauerkraut for 10 minutes, and scoop it regularly.
- Add a tbsp. of water to put a lid on the pan and let the sauerkraut for 10 minutes smother. Remove the juniper.
- Saute the sauerkraut a little over high heat until the moisture is gone and the light goes sauerkraut colors. Meanwhile, fry the salmon if you served there.
