A Healthy Recipe - Romaine Lettuce Salad with Cheese and Walnuts

Today we opt for one of the many salad recipes. Save recipes are healthy, easy and can be either eaten as a side dish or as a main dish. This recipe is romaine lettuce salad with cheese and walnuts. It is for 4 people and the cooking time is approximately 25 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • ½ head romaine lettuce
  • 2 slices bread (white or brown)
  • 2 slices bacon
  • 30 grams of butter
  • 60 grams Gorgonzola
  • ⅓ cup walnuts (roughly chopped)


Dressing Ingredients:
  • 2 anchovies fillets, canned
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 80 milliliters olive oil

Preparation:
  1. First we make the croutons. Remove the crusts from the bread slices. Cut the bread into small cubes. Bake the bread cubes in a skillet with butter until they become golden brown. Let the cubes to drain on a paper towel.
  2. Cut the bacon in small pieces and cook it until golden. The bacon drain well on a paper towel.
  3. Wash the romaine lettuce after draining tear the lettuce than I small pieces.
  4. Put the small pieces romaine lettuce in a large bowl or bowl and add the bacon, croutons and crumbled Gorgonzola. Stir it well together.

Dressing Preparation:
  1. Bring some water to boil and stopper the egg and let it cook 1 min. Break the egg than in a blender or food processor.
